Cath's trip report - Day 4 – Please don’t make me ride those tea cups again!! (MK)

Who’s Who

Me – Cath, 32
DH – Tony, 34
DS1 – Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 – Christopher, 3 years 11 months

We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6

Up bright and early, have breakfast in the villa and we’re off to MK. Take the monorail and arrive just after nine.

Kids put in a special request for Buzz, so we head into Tomorrowland. Ride Buzz twice with no wait, then we decide on the Speedway. Wait of 15 minutes – again it is more than that, but the kids enjoyed it. I had DS1 and he wanted to steer, but my neck couldn’t take it!! Off the Speedway and another request – Teacups. We did them twice – they love it the faster you can spin it!! Stagger into Mickey’s Toontown and do Goofy’s Barnstormer – again no wait, then a look round Minnie’s house. I did think it was looking a bit shabby. There were knobs missing from cupboards in the kitchen and the paint was chipped and worn away in places!! I don’t know if anyone else noticed this. DS2 is fascinated by the ‘fridge’ in here!!!

We get on the train and have to get off at Main St USA – the stop in Frontierland is closed today!! We head over the bridge into Adventureland, and we decide to get some FP’s for Jungle Cruise – do Pirates of the Caribbean while we wait for our time to come round – still as entertaining as ever!!!!

After the Jungle Cruise, we head into Fantasyland and do It’s a Small World, then on for more teacups (groan……..)

We left MK around 12 and headed for Downtown Disney – we had lunch at Mc Donalds and went into the Lego store – the kids were tired and hot, so we decided to go back to the villa for a while. We spent about an hour in the pool, then we head to WalMart for a browse. After WalMart we head back to DD – kids are a bit happier now. I get some things from Days of Christmas and we decide we need something to eat – and decide on Wolfgang Puck Express. We have to share Pizza, fries and Macaroni cheese – all were very tasty, but not as ‘express’ as I thought it would be!!! I think we waited around 30 minutes for the food.

We went back to the villa, and after a few glasses of wine, head to bed.
