Who’s Who

Me – Cath, 32
DH – Tony, 34
DS1 – Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 – Christopher, 3 years 11 months

We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6

Up early today to get to IOA fairly early. Breakfast again in the villa – cereal, muffins, donuts – very nutritious!!!!LOL

We decide to pay for preferred parking – easier on the kids legs, as we’ll be renting a double stroller again today, so we were in Cat in the Hat. We arrived and had to queue to exchange the voucher for all the tickets, so we got into IOA at around 9.40. After getting the stroller we went to Spiderman. Both DSs were very excited about this. Wait time was 15 minutes so we went ahead. We were only in the line minutes when the CM told us there was a tech problem and the ride was off – but we could still wait. We sent the DH’s off to get Express tickets for later – just in case the wait was too long. I think we actually waited an hour – so we wasted some time there, and the kids did not like waiting in line!!! DS2 absolutely loved it – he was hilarious – his 3D glasses kept falling off, and he was desperately trying to keep them on and at the same time didn’t like not holding on!!! DS1 was not so sure – he said he didn’t like the hot bit or the rainy bit!!

So we had Express for Spidey again at 1pm so we decided to meet up again then. We went off to Seuss Landing and the kids enjoyed the If I Ran The Zoo Playground – which they remembered from last year – especially all the bits that get you wet. Then we did Cat in the Hat with no wait, and also Caro-Seuss-el. We got Express for One Fish to return between 2 and 3.

We met up for Spidey again, but DS1 decided against it, so DH offered to wait with him. We then had a rather uninspired lunch at Circus Mcwhatisname – although kids enjoyed it!! DH dropped the camcorder……….well he says it fell out of the bag, which was opened a wee bit. It does still work but a bit is broken, so may need insurance claim there.

It was now time for One Fish Two Fish – the kids had been asking to get on this all day, but the lines we horrendously long. They loved it – especially getting to move the fish up and down – and getting wet!! We had another go on Cat in the Hat, again with very little wait. After a refreshment stop we went through the Lost Continent and picked up Express for the Flying Unicorn and went into Jurassic Park – it was raining fairly heavily so we went into the Discovery Centre where the kids enjoyed the stretch of legs and Mum and Dad enjoyed the A/C. We watched the hatching of the dino egg – DS1 was a bit worried as he honestly thought it was real. The rain had stopped so the kids had a go in the playground – but wouldn’t cross any of the rope bridges without Mum or Dad, so we had to go along too – it was hard work I can tell you.
Time now for the Flying Unicorn – or Flying UNIFORM as DS1 kept saying.

I remember this from last year thinking it was quite fast! And it was – kids weren’t so sure, neither was I.

We decided to call it a day – we had done quite a lot today, and decided to have a look at Belz before going home. Great idea until the kids decide to get soaked in the squirty fountains at the start of City Walk……..they were drenched, but they loved it. We still went to Belz, but made GAP our first port of call for some dry clothes, then get some new sandals.

Went into the Universal Shop – DSs loved it and so did I cos everything is 50% off. Then into my fav non-Disney shop – the Music Box company. I just love the Gone with the Wind ones. I look lovingly at the 20% off tags…………..but decide to wait.

Decide to make for home – we pick up Taco Bell and Burger King on the way home – they were heavy but we managed to get then into the Stratus Trunk………LOL
I like the nachos from there – but that’s about it. Kids had something from BK

At home we have a look at the itinerary and it is SeaWorld tomorrow…..but we don’t want to stick to that.
Actually I’ve gone off the idea of SeaWorld, so we opt for MK, but other family still go for SeaWorld.

Another great day - and the kids are enjoying the pool!!

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!!

Sounds like a fun day. I stood in the line for One fish, two fish for 45 minutes with Bouncy's children while Bouncy sat on a bench:rolleyes: :D The kids thought it was brilliant.

DH thought the flying unicorn was fast too.

Lovely report
