Well I know it's been a few weeks since our cruise but we thought we'd post a few highlights of our 3rd Cruise &1st 7 Day Cruise.......Starring: Mark, Sue, Norm, Steve, Cathy, Travis, Matt & Sarah! Pre-Cruise Travel: We left NH on Thurs. 7-15-04 for our 27 hour drive to Port Canaveral from NH. Great weather all the way down! We arrived @ Ron Jon's for our overnight stay at the Cape Caribe Resort around 4pm on Friday. Check-in took about 15 minutes. There are 8 of us total so we had 2 two bedroom units with plenty of room on the 1st Floor. The kids enjoyed the lazy river, pool & game room. Sue & I thoroughly enjoyed having our own washer & dryer in each unit. Day 1: Mark cooked breakfast for everybody before we left for the port @ 10am (They are very strict about check-out time, being a time-share resort). Left Ron Jon's and saw the beautiful Disney Magic right around the corner! Check -in went well.....we boarded around 12 noon. We went directly to Parrot Cay for lunch. After lunch our staterooms were ready @ 1:30pm..so up to Deck 6 aft & home to 6654, 6652, & 6650! Some of the luggage had arrived & the boys went off to meet some friends they had met on the Boards.My niece Sarah & I decided to take a swim & relax in the jacuzzi before the lifeboat drill. After the drill we went up to Deck 10 for the Sail-away Party. Met some fellow DISer's, Carole, Jeanne, & Haley & Anna's Mom. Our 1st Dinner on board was @ Parrot Cay (we had PLAPLAP 6pm dinner seating) We met the Keeners from Delaware, (more DISer's) @ dinner. Dinner was great , met our servers, German from Peru, Octavian from Romania, (Anina from South Africa for the 1st 2 nights) and head server Atilla from Hungary who helped us to get Steve's seating right ( Steve, our buddy who travels with us, has Muscular Dystrophy & uses a large power wheelchair). A great group of servers! After dinner we decided to check out the Welcome Aboard Show in the Walt Disney Theater. Very nice show! Before going back to our staterooms & ordering room service we walked the entire deck around Deck 4..very interesting & good exercise.. you can check out the lifeboats & the ocean below! After settling in our rooms & having our snack we hit the beds around 12:30 - 1:00am.
