category 8

Hi just wondering if anyone has stayed in category 8 deck 6
is this a good deck or is it noisy!!!!!

We are scheduled in category 8 , deck 7. I have never stayed in this category. I would like to hear about both decks 6 and 7 in this category. Is there less storage space than in Veranda rooms?

We stay in a Cat 8 on deck 6, forward. It was plenty of room for us, but we are just two adults. Wasn't noisy at all. Enjoy!

The 8's are the same basic stateroom as 7's, 6's and 5's but without the verandah. We had slightly more storage in our 8's on 2 cruises than in our 5 last month, as the steamer trunk was not part of 7132.

The 8's are foreward of the fore elevators, so there is not much "through" traffic, so likely to be nice and quiet, convenient to the stairs to go up or down a few decks easily w/o elevator waiting. Of course, you never know where a loud neighbor might be staying, so can't guarantee the quiet. We've always been on 7, 7004, 7014, and soon to be 7012. Got upgraded from 7502 to 7132 last time, but given the solid verandah and reduced storage, it wasn't that huge of a thrill as other upgrades might have been.

Enjoy the 8's if you do go through with staying in them.
