We were fortunate enough to get a Cat 3 for our family of five. We will be staying at Old Key West the night before, then driving to the port. Will we have a concierge that lines things up ahead of time, or do we go through the same process of scurrying for Palo and spa and kids stuff that the *riff raff* must?

My understanding, as "riff raff" is that consierge services will arrange Palo and spa reservations. I am not sure about signing up for the kids club. I suspect that is something you will have to do on your own.

Have a great time.

Since you have a Cat. 3 suite you will be allowed to board right after any handicapped passengers along with other Cat. 1, 2 and 3 passengers. The Concierge Team will take care of Palo and spa reservations, bridge tours, and I think even shore excursions on Castaway Cay (can someone verify this?). They will even register your kids in the clubs. When we cruised they had Concierge Meet in Sessions on Deck 3. HTH

They will sign you up for the clubs too. Once onboard.....you will go to sessions...i think...i'm having a brain freeze at the moment  and they will take good care of you.

You do get to board first as well as a line just for concerige.

All you do is tell them what and when you want it....and they will do there best to get it for you.

We just stayed in a the cat 3 in september..... We loved it!! Have a great time!

You can also call Debbie in dining to take care of your Palo ressies up to 60 days out. Same as the REAS. You'll be able to make high tea and brunch ressies as well. The Spa staff will take your appointments, they will register the kids and you'll meet the awesome concierge staff.

If you're going on the Magic say "Hi" to Ana for us.

Just got home from the 10/09 magic. It is in sessions and they will make all your reservations for palo, tours, hairbraiding, spa, excursions, and they will remind you of things you didn't even know of. They were great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this is great to hear! I didn't realize there was a special boarding line for guests in suites. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all the great perks stay the same for 2006 (when we get to cruise in Cat 3...JUST 500+ days!:hyper: :earseek: )

Thanks for the info everyone!

For $100 I'll stand in line for you. :D

You will love concierge. They do everything for you. You can even choose your dining rotation when you talk to Debbie about Palo reservations. The only thing I did before we went in February was book parasailing because it books quickly. I was even able to put that request in beforehand and they took care of it for me at the 60 day mark.

It is wonderful sitting in one spot and having the people from the spa, kid's club and the concierge come to you. It soooo beats waiting in line. Unfortunately once you've done it once, you can't go back to anything else.

Have a great trip, we'll be back in Cat 3 in Feb 2006, and can't wait.
