Category 05B: Room for inflatable toddler bed?

Our toddler travels best if we have his familiar inflatable travel crib. (Standard size crib mattress with inflatable bumpers -- he's too big for a pack n play.) Would there be enough floor space in a category 05B cabin to set it up? It's 42" wide, 66 long. Edited to add: we're sailing on the Fantasy.

The dimensions you give are larger than I would have expected given that you state it's a standard sized crib mattress. A standard crib is usually 30" x 52", so this travel crib is a foot wider and over a foot longer than a standard crib. It would be very tight but I think you could squeeze it in between the couch and the desk, if you move the small table that is usually in front of the couch. It would severely limit your ability to move around the state room and get out to the verandah. How tall is it? If it is close to the ground, i.e. not much taller than a mattress, then you could slide it underneath the queen bed when it's not being used.

Yes, that's the bumpers -- they're a good 6-8 inches thick on each side. It's squishy, though, so it can be squeezed into a slightly tighter space when necessary (had to do that when visiting grandparents recently.) We wouldn't leave it on the floor during the day, just put it down to sleep. It's about 10 inches high. Sliding it under the bed would be ideal if it fits!

Edited to add: link to the specific bed here, to help if you're having trouble picturing it. It'd also be possible to deflate it during the day, because it only takes a few minutes to inflate, so the question is just whether there's room to set it out just for sleeping. (Though if it can slide under the bed that'd be even better, especially since he usually still takes an afternoon nap.) https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Infla...569600&sr=8-6&keywords=inflatable+toddler+bed

Here's a picture of the area between the couch and the desk. I think the bed could squish in there, just barely. The length would be fine because the back of the couch folds down to create a twin bed. I'm just a little worried about the width. At 10 inches high, it will fit under the queen bed when not used.

This is just what I needed to see. Thanks so much! I could probably move that coffee table if needed, too.

As the queen bed is 13" high, you'd be able to slide it under the bed for the day.

Cool bed, btw. If they had an adult one, I'd sleep in it, too. ;)

Thanks! That's great to know!

I would totally sleep in an adult size one, too :) It's super comfortable and surprisingly roomy. I've fallen asleep in it while snuggling with him to try to get him to sleep :)
