So it appears that you can make reservations for Catal in OpenTable and in the DL app.

BUT the DL app has way less availability than OpenTable.

Do you get charged for missing a Catal ADR through the DL app? Because you do not through OpenTable….

its a weird set up? anyone with experience with this?

So, the short answer is you will NOT get charged if you no show to a non Disney owned restaurant through the DL app. Disney only charges at their own restaurants. However, we always book those DtD restaurants using Open Table simply because they have much better availability.
