Okay this might be a bit long. I'm so upset right now.
Last night my boyfriend was out fixing a car for my dad. My son was asleep in bed and I decided to go take a shower. It was about 10:30pm. I walked past the cat who was laying on a rug by the kitchen sink where she usual sits. She seemed fine. My shower lasted about 15 min. When I got out I frosted a cake and Cuda (our cat) was meowing. So I finished the cake and started to pet her. She is normally not a friendly cat with me unless she's in heat. (She's really boyfriends cat and is like his baby. She is everywhere he is in the house) So I got up to wash my hands (I'm alergic) and she started to follow me. Well she had her back legs spread out on the floor like she did a belly flop and she was pulling herself across the floor with her front legs!
I imediately called boyfriend and he rushed home. She doesn't seem to be in any pain as she's not crying or anything. It also seems like she has feelings in her thighs and she can move her tail. She also has bladder sensation cause she tried to get to the litterbox. I put her over there and she did her business.
We need to get her into a vet ASAP. What could be wrong with her? We thought at first she fell off of something and broke her legs but they don't feel broken. Plus she's not crying. She'll react if you touch her thighs but if you tickle her back feet she doesn't move an inch. HELP!
UPDATE: Okay just called boyfriend and he took her to the vet. Turns out she had a blood clot and now he's taking her to the emergency room so they can give her something to hopefully loosen the clot.
