My neighbors have an elderly cat which they aren't taking proper care of. He spends most of his time outside in the frigid Massachusetts air. He wants desperately to come inside our house, but we aren't able to let him in. Our cat Hates other cats, particularly this sweet boy.
So, I've set up a bed for him and I feed him twice a day. I've personally delivered him to his owners on two freezing cold nights, but he was back on our doorstep an hour later. They say that he hates being inside their house because they have 6 other pets. I'm going to be moving to an apartment of my own, and would love to take him with me. My question is- how likely is he to spray? He hasn't been neutered, and I really don't want to ruin my new stuff. Is there some way to prevent him from scratching and spraying the furniture? He is in good health, but starving for attention. My heart just breaks for this little one. Thanks
