I talked with a woman once that owned a border collie. The dog would always try to "herd" the 3 cats in the house, with no success. He'd pick one up by the scruf (cat didn't mind I guess) and drop it in the family room, then run off to find another. Meanwhile, the first cat would go and find something else to do in another room. Dog would come back in with cat # 2 and then have to go and find the 1st cat, and the 2nd cat would take off, and so on.
