Does anyone have any experience with the Category 3 stateroom connecting to the Category 4. I am looking at this option for our family and my in-laws on the 7 nite cruise. I like the Cat 3 's in center of the ship better, but it appears that they do not connect to the next room. Any opinions?

The mid-ship Cat.3's connect only to the Cat. 3 next to it.

Have you thought about getting a Cat 2? It would have two bedrooms (both have connecting bathrooms, TV's, walk-in closets), 2 1/2 baths, a living area similar to the mid-ship Cat 3, but with a larger dining table. It might be more economical than connecting cabins.

The cat 3 cabins ending in 32 and 34 connect to each other . . . if $$ is no object you will have a dream of a vacation and a lot of space to spread out in!! My brother's family, my sister's family and my mom stayed in those cabins and they were wonderful. If you can afford it book 'em!

Yes, we had 8522 (Cat 3) and my parents had 8524 (Cat 4) in December for a 7-night. We had 4 of us (DH plus two children) in our Cat 3, and we "shared" the living room with my parents during the day. We would just prop open the connecting door once everyone was up and "decent" in the morning. My parents liked having their own space and the ability to really CLOSE the door and still have the nice split bath. The concierge extended their services to my parents, too. Really enjoyed it!
