Casual, but good food outside the park?

We are going down next month and are spending several days outside the park, but at a hotel close to Disney. On the days we go to the Di of course we will eat there for the convenience, but the other days I am looking to find affordable decent food like El Pollo Loco, a local sandwich shop that serves good sandwiches, Panda Express, Chipotle, Baja Fresh, Fresh Choice, In and Out, those affrodable fast food but not burtger type places. Anyone know the locations of those or something similar that is good fast food in that area?

There is an El Pollo Loco maybe 2 miles from the Disneyland gates, on Ball Road. That food is one of my favorites too!

For sandwiches, there is a Subway somewhere around Disneyland and a Quizno's inside one of the hotels on Harbor, I believe. I believe there is a Del Taco and (per Google) a Jack in the Box just south of Disneyland on Harbor, too. Both serve hamburgers and tacos (though the ones at Jack in the Box might make you laugh if you've never been, with the half-slice of American cheese, LOL ). If you don't have them locally you can check out their menus online, though...both have some pretty good food, at cheap-to-reasonable prices.

I'd probably just type in my hotel's address in Google maps and look for "restaurants near" and see what came up. That can be hit or miss, though.

There is a Submarina (sandwich shop), Sbarro, Hawaiian BBQ, and more at Garden Walk "mall." You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes from the entrance plaza to DL/DCA. Just go past the resort bus pick-up area and turn right on Harbor then left on Disney Way. If you google "Anaheim Garden Walk" you can find out more.
