! Speaking of that, when I was out with Allen the other day, he had asked for some $ to buy flowers for this girl, I went in with him , cuz he's a dude, what does he know about flowers
...turns out quite a bit. where was I going with this...OH YEAH! HE gives me the change, a couple a bucks and 35 cents, I was like "you can keep it, but give me the dime." The florist laughed and said, "I know what you're doing...disney on a dime?" YES!!! I need to take a pic and post it. I also have to read carefully to see what other little secrets you may have shared. I can't leave you alone for a minute...or 3 days!

In trying to keep the Disney excitement alive I have been continuously working on my Disney scrapbooks, sad to say I am a few years behind, I have been working on my 2010 vacation. My sister did the 2011 scrapbook for our mom and is working on her own now. I was the main picture taker on that trip, I took over 800 pictures....and then proceeded to lose the memory card before printing any out. Luckily for Bo our friend Ally took pics, not a lot but still it's something, and Bo did the photopass, she managed to turn 40 pictures into 400so she has a picture of her in front of the sorcerers hat, and again in black and white, and again but zoomed in and then zoomed in but in black and white, and again with a princess border, a Christmas border, a celebrate border, basically every border.
This trip we are going to do the photopass again and take advantage of every opportunity, plus Bo will be in charge of the memory card at the end of the vacation.
I can't wait to actually book the trip and put some money down on it, until then..heres to Castle Wishes

I think it's hilarious, what do people say when you show them pictures of your trip? Do you act like it's normal to have 50 pics of you, same place, same pose?

first and foremost...do we break from tradition? Tradition would dictate that we go to WDW in December, however, looking through our passporter we soon discovered several other "seasons" we'd like to experience
. Halloween for sure
and the food and wine festival sounds yummy. then there were the spring options with the flowers and everything in bloom
...this gardners dream come true. BUT, we wanted to maximize our time and money, so we opted for late September. This will allow us to experience the "Food and Wine" festival as well as Halloween. We also figured kids will be back to school and parents would be less likely to pull them out right after starting. (low crowd time...BONUS!) Next, we needed to decide on costumes.We can not go to a halloween party without costumes! we discussed our criteria...convenient to pack, easy to get on and off rides in full costume. We also wanted a theme, our costumes have to "go" together, I mean really, this is a "sisters trip" We wanted to be unique, something clever and thought provoking. SOOOOOoooo, we will not be going as any disney characters, (although it was very tempting.) We have the idea, the concept...but we will not be posting that. To find out what we did, you'll have to wait for the pics and our post Trip Report! The next decision to be made was where??? Again, tradition would dictate Pop Century. We love the bus system, not to mention I think Ty hasn't managed to stay in every decade yet. the food was pretty good, nice pools...convenient and cost effective. Once again though, we're breaking with tradition and by we I mean Ty. (I've only been once, 1 time is not "tradition" yet.) we still want the most bang for our buck, we reasoned that we wont be in the room much...sleeping and showering. better to save our $ for the extras. But then Ty pointed out that she's done a trip with just 2 people, and they had a ton of time left over. Apparently its easier for 2 to decide where to go then 4. So back to square one. we checked on prices, bus systems, pools etc. Ty had some interesting history about the newer "Art of Animation". She sent me some links and we did a virtual tour...We're gonna do it! (Ty will tell you her take on it all.) we're staying at that one ... and we want "the little mermaid"room! I don't know about her, but me and my kids would jump off our sofa ship, into the sea of carpet! "Grimm I lost her once! I'm not going to lose her again!" I'd spend hours taking requests of what to draw next playing outside with the sidewalk chalk. Ursula was a favorite of my boys. I drew that sea witch dozens of times. Ty and I have been talking and planning for 2 years, the whole time she was in school. this trip could potentially cost more than our last one. We have got to make this trip happen, we have to save, save, save! this could be my last trip...TY told me about the "disney on a dime" idea. Ty this is your cue to educate our potential readers of the dime details and post some pics. That being said I need to go decorate my bottle and send you a pic...this seems like a good stopping point. Until next time

hmm, you're last post didn't show til after I put my post on...whats up with that?
how would they have decorated it? I bet it would of had a huge Icon of Steamboat Willie, maybe Horace and Clarabell? Possibly Snow White considering that was Disney's first full length animated movie, it came out in 37. I mean it could have worked, but I like that they chose something with more up to date movies, solely for the sake of todays kids, to be honest most kids today do not know or have any sentimental memories of the way early Disney cartoons, but what Child doesn't know Aerial, or Simba, or Lightning McQueen?
