Castle Update!!! (photos)

The 60th decorations are starting to go up. The roof is also starting to change Thanks to Disney Darlings for the photos!

Pretty! I'm hoping the castle is fully decorated when I go May 15-17 for my birthday trip with dh... . Although I'll be back in June with the family for our summer trip.

If they're already putting the decorations up, I'm sure it'll probably be complete by that time. It looks like the plastic grayish colored tops are covering the actual "diamond" tops. Probably to keep them fresh and pretty for the May 22nd reveal date.

Ohhh...didn't think about what those gray parts were...can't wait to see it fully blinged out!

Okay I just edited the post with HD versions of the photos...turns out those toppers ARE the diamond accents. Not impressed. Hopefully they're not done

They put in some new mini towers to hide lighting fixtures (photo from Dateline Disneyland)

Well, those silver bands are consistent with the artist renderings they posted on the Parks Blog entry...but hopefully they will be more silvery, glittery accents added as time goes on!

Umm... Real diamonds that size do't even exist, never-mind how crazy expensive they'd be. No you can bet they're not real. But they will likely twinkle and shine like crazy.
