We only have one evening where I have booked a later evening meal at 7.30pm so we are hoping to see the tree and castle being lit on this night before we eat.

The park programme says the castle lighting ceremony and show is at 7.10pm. Does anyone know if the castle is lit at the beginnning or end of the show?

Also how long does it all last?

Many thanks :)

The tree lighting ceremony was at 6.30 and lasted about 15-20 minutes. We didn't watch the 7.10 show or see the castle lights go on, but I think it was about 7.30 or after as we saw it in all its glory from BTM at about this time! Hope this helps.

they did the show on the stage before they lit the castle last week, so i would think it would be about 7.30, if you reservation isnt in a restaurant too far away then i would say you would be fine.

Thanks for the replies :thumbsup2 I thought as much. We are eating at Silver Spur at 7.30 so could probably see most of it and quick foot it to the restaurant before they cancel our res! Will have to work out a route so we know what direction we have to head for!! lol

If you stand near to Casey's, you'll be able to take the walkway into Frontierland at the top of the Liberty Arcade, you'll be there in a minute!

Hi,
When we watched the castle lighting it was raining so there was no show with it just the music and the castle lighting up, we had to go and watch it again when it was a dryer night.

def stand near casey's and then use the walkway, you will be there in less than a min like pp said. We ate in silver spur twice on our last visit (last week) and both times they werent packed, they were also really helpful so i am sure you will be fine if you are a little late. Our daughter was asleep and they let us bring her inside in the puschair and couldnt have been more helpful plus the fod was lovely, by far the best meal i had all trip. :thumbsup2

Thankyou so much for all your very helpful info. Think we are definitey going to stand on the corner of caseys and then run to the restaurant :thumbsup2 That's if the weather is kind to us and the show runs to plan!
