Castle Club Rooms

Castle Club RoomsWe have CC room in August for nearly $1000 per night USD!! It doesn't even have a view of the castle and isn't near the lounge - in a wing! Is this 'normal?' We are 2 adults and one child

I'm afraid it would appear to be!! You're staying a Friday and Saturday night during the high season, and it is DLH Castle Club. CC rooms are quite a bit more than standard rooms at the DLH which, according to the official site, would still cost around $1600 for those two nights.

Still, you've chosen a great place to stay

When we stayed at the DLH in March we had a standard room. I have seen many pictures of CC rooms posted here and they are (except for the wallpaper) exactly the same as the room we stayed in. We had a view over the front of the hotel too (and Disney Village in the background). So it seems that the main benefits of a CC room are the perks that go with it (fastpasses, afternoon tea...) and not the room itself.

Is it common that CC rooms are not located within the Castle Club, but rather in the building wings? I know we get whatever perqs CC guests get, but what is the proximity of these 'wings' to the CC Lounge? How do we even get there??

From what I understand the castle club standard rooms are located on the Castle club floor.

Its the Juinor suites that are not though the people staying in them can go on the castle club floor and use the lounge, lift and private reception. and all all the same perks, the only difference is the location of the room.
