I've read on several posts that some guests receive their Castaway Club Membership cards shortly after their 1st cruise & others don't receive them at all. We went on our 1st cruise in Feb. & still haven't received anything. We also have already booked another cruise. Does anyone know why their seems to be no consistency with this? Cathie:bounce:

We received our approx 4 months after our Nov 2002 cruise. However, we only received one card, DH's. The rest of us don't have one, but we all have numbers.

We cruised last April, and never received them. I phoned. They said they would send them out. I never received them. I phoned again, and they said they would send them out... and I never received them. So.... I booked our Christmas cruise thru Dreams, and then phoned DCL Castaway Club AGAIN.. and asked for it.. and they said they'd send them out.. and I never received them.
:( It's extremely frusterating.. and I can't help wondering what the problem is with such a simple request, and why they say they will do it.. and it's never been done.

Have cruised twice, booked a third and never received them for my daughter or I. My mother sailed with us on our second cruise and she didn't receive one either. Just need the number.

We received ours right after our August 2002 cruise. Couldn't find it when I book our July 2004 cruise but just called Disney and got the numbers from them. Can't wait to go again.

You're not missing much! We got ours shortly after our 1st DCL cruise in 1999 and never needed them since. I think they are sitting on the bottom of a drawer somewhere collecting dust. I don't recall ever receiving any updates/special offers/newsletters from them. Everytime we rebook, we just tell the TA we're past DCL cruisers and they can find our records with no problem. We got our cabin gift and reception invitation each time.

We cruised on the Wonder on April 6, 2003. Just last week I got a CC card which surprised me that it came that fast. But DH and DS didn't get one, only me. My name was the lead name on our reservations, so I wasn't sure if each of us will get one or just one for the whole party.

The only people that have received actually cards are the two that were lead names on the ressies of the two cabins. We all have our own number, but only two cards came. They haven't lost me yet in their system.

We cruised Feb 2000 and didn't even know what a Castaway Club member was 'till a friend who cruised told us. Mever recieved a card. Booked Nov. 29, 2002 Magic Eastern (cancelled) then displaced to the Dec. 1, 2002 Wonder. To our surprise...the night before Castaway Cay there was a beach towel an 4 pins saying Castaway Club Members.
When I rebooked for our Nov. 2003 I asked about Castaway club discounts and they said they have us on file as a members....it's automatic.

We cruised in Feb. and we don't have cards either.:(

I guess the card isn't really that important, but it doesn't make sense to mail it to some people & not others. We already have our CC#'s too, but it would be nice to do the whole CC Membership thing either one way or the other.

We cruised last April 2002 and never recieved anything, no cards no numbers, nada. Who do we contact for this information? Any help?

After our first cruise DEC2001, we received them about 2 months later. We moved and I lost them. It took me about 4 phone calls before I got replacements. I have separate ones for both DH and me. Although, since I didn't have the actual cards for a while, I have our numbers memorized. I call them my DCL Social Security numbers!!! ;)

Keep calling every two weeks or so. They'll get there. Keep record of the dates you called and the agents you speak with and state those each time you call.

Hi there

I e-mailed DCL last week requesting our Castaway Club member numbers (so we could book on-line through DCL) and they replied today. DH, myself and 2 DD's have each got our own number. We last sailed in April '03, this was our 2nd cruise and we have never received a card or anything before.

Does anyone have the number you call to request the CC Menbership Cards? Thanks Cathie

I think the number is 1-800-449-3380. That is the number printed on my CC card.

My daughter, niece and her son sailed February 2002. My daughter never received any CC card, I don't know if my niece received anything,,,, she had booked the cruise for the 3 of them. I notified DU when I booked this cruise, that my daughter had sailed before, which makes her a Castaway Cay member, and will remind them as our cruise gets closer. I'm assuming they can contact Disney a lot easier to find out what the CC # is.

What are these "passporters" that people mention that their kids get when their cruise tickets come?
