Castaway Club CD

Just received a CD from the Castaway Club for when we are on dry land and stranded, we can let our imagination sail away! Music and a screensaver. This will be nice in the middle of winter when it is 25 and snowing. On second thought, perhaps anytime we need a fix!

I love the screen saver slide show- particularly the photos of Castaway Cay. DH downloaded song #1, the ship horn, to play each time we receive an email.

I am sooo there!! Well, almost...just waiting until next May!

we received ours a few weeks after we returned home from our cruise. it came with our castaway cards if I remember correctly.

We sailed in January and when I called a few weeks ago to ask about the CD and our Castaway Club cards, I was told it takes several months to get them. Has this been anyone else's experience?

This CD is torture! I cannot bear listening to it. Makes me want to jump on a plane and take the next ship out. If we didn't already have three more cruises booked I would have instantly been on the phone with DCL. This is marketing genius on DCL's part! (I'm sure I will enjoy this CD during the week before our cruise!)

I have the CD from last year. It only has music on it. Am I doing something wrong or have they changed them?

Look at the properties on the CD and see if it has a screen saver on it. I didn't even know about the CD. It just came in the mail. I have no clue how they send these out. We are coming up to our 12th cruise at the end of next week and we just got the CD. I don't know how the Castaway Club does this if others got one a year ago...

Screen Savers usually have an src extension (file format) e.g., CastawayCay.src.

If someone would snail mail me a copy of the disc I should be able to post the entire cd to my website. Once I have it posted anyone would be allowed to download it.

We have been back from our cruise since December and have not received anything. bummer.

I had some fun with the CD over the weekend. I was finally putting together a DVD with the video from the trip and discovered I need to break it up to two DVDs. Since I now have extra room I put a slide show on the DVD with pictures from our trip. I used some of the music from the DVD to go along with the slide show, and it's awsome. My first picture on the slide show is of the ship, with track #1 (the ships horn) .

I haven't loaded the screen saver yet, can't wait!
