Castaway Cay - flotation vest for snorkeling if bring own equipment?

So if they bring their own snorkel gear, can they snorkel for free? Or do you have to pay to go in the snorkel lagoon?

Only rental equipment has a fee. If you bring your own, there is no cost for snorkeling. If you do not bring a snorkeling vest. you will need to get one at the rental shop or the lifeguard stand. There is no cost for the vest if you bring the rest of your gear.
