No, that's been there for years

this has been there for as long as i can remember. it can be found in the walkway directly in front of the matterhorn station. its easily overlooked.

I can't remember when it appeared in the park, but do recall seeing it in the early 90s. It's probably been there since 1978 shortly after the print was discovered or maybe in 83 when FL recieved a major overahall.

here's a pic i took in 2010. you can see the matterhorn sign in the background, it looks to be the tomorrowland side of the matterhorn station.

Ok, sorry to go off topic, but what happened to the little jaw dropping smiley and when did we get the chin scratcher? Is this just another thing I never noticed that was always there?

I seemed to notice a few new ones appearing and a few old ones disappearing a few weeks ago.

After being closed for half a year, the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland will reopen this Friday.

There are actually two casts of the footprint. One is at the entrance, and one is at the "back" of the Matterhorn. The one at the entrance used to be across the walkway from the one at the back, but they've moved it to the entrance area.
