Cast members allowed off the boat at Ports?

I was talking to a friend who just got off a Carnival cruise and she said the crew members aren't allowed to leave the ship at the ports at this time. I was wondering if Disney was doing the same thing. She said frequent cruisers were bringing on things like toiletries and feminine products so the crew didn't have to buy it at the expensive onboard commissary.
Anyone know if Disney is going the same thing?

Not sure if they can leave on flip days. They don't have any port stops on any Disney cruise ship though right now.

Disney is currently only stopping at Castaway Cay, so they get off to work, and that's it.

They aren't allowed off. Same for the England staycations, the crew can't leave the ship.

So question is then what would be the things they need/want that we could bring? Could anyone ask the crew on the Dream if they know someone?
