Cast Member WOC Preview VGC?

I hear that there will be cast member previews for World of Color on June 6th and 7th. I will be staying at VGC and wondering if they would possibly have the observation deck open for those of us staying there on those nights? I suppose they can't stop us from sneaking a peak, but I am assuming that the observation deck would have the sound from the show as well and that would be even better. If not, I will be there on the 8th as well and hoping for a soft opening.

Be advised that the 8th is that radio station viewing event. Not sure if they have the whole thing reserved or not.

I don't know anything about the observation deck at the GCH, but if you are in a room where you can see the area for WOC, if they are running it, you will see and hear the whole thing. We were at DL last week in a room at PPH and they were doing run-thrus. Now we could only see the back, but every night we were treated to the whole show (it looks AMAZING!) and the sound can probably be heard in San Diego, lol. Believe me, it is loud!

Chances are, its not worth it to watch it from up there. The way WoC is designed, it is facing towards the from of the park hence a bad view.

Disneyland just had an update on their Facebook, that said this:

We will be there June 6-9 staying at the GCV. Do you think we might have a chance to see WOC on one of those nights?

We booked this trip partly because I wanted to see Main Street Electrical Parade and then they moved that to WDW, where we usually go. I also wanted to see Remember fireworks because I heard they were even better than Wishes at WDW and then they changed that to Magical. I'm sure hoping we get a chance to see WOC as we probably won't get back to DL for another 10-15 years.

Oh well, I am really looking forward to staying at the Grand Californian Villas and doing some of our favorite rides!
