Cast member ticket discount

Not quite sure what subject to post this under, hope its okay to post it here! I was wondering what the cast member discount was for tickets? Someone had said it was 6 times a year. I didnt know if that meant 6 days worth of tickets....or 6 times a year meaning 6 different visits to the parks. If someone could shed some light on this Id appreciate it =)

I'm no expert but I believe there are many factors involved, not just a blanket discount. At least, someone posted it that way regarding the CM's at the Disney store.

Are you talking about the discounts castmembers get on tickets? If you are, it's 10% off gate prices.

If you want to know about castmember Blue/Silver pass entries (free entry for guests), then it can vary based on the castmember's employment status and seniority. When my DD was in the College Program she had a Blue Pass and could get 3ppl in for up to 6 days/yr.

Ya I was actually referring to the College Program discount. i talked to someone who did the program already and she said 6 times per year. I didnt know if that was 6 days or 6 seperate visits to Disney.

We took my DNiece to WDW a couple times when she worked at DLR. It was great-they didn't even stamp her main gate pass , until our last visit in Jan. 06. They made a change and did stamp it every time.

A CP can enter any of the theme parks by themself just using their ID at any time during regular Park hours. With their Blue Main Gate Pass they may bring in up to three Guests on any six days during their period of employment. This does not apply to night Party entrance.

If more than six days are needed, additional MYW tickets may be purchased at Company D at a 10% discount from gate.

Different rules apply to the water parks.
