Anyone know if cast members get any restaraunt discounts in Orlando?

Not true.

Once a year CM's get a coupon good for ONE 50% off meal that can be used in a selection--not all--restaurants for a specific time period.

Normally CM's get a discount at some full service restaurants during certain times. Alcohol is never discounted.

Many WDW CM's have found that purchasing the DDE card offers them a better deal as there are far fewer restrictions and alcohol is also discounted.
