Cast member fastpass

A friend of mine is close to a DLP castmember, and says that her friend is going to leave at pass at my hotel that I can collect when I stay that means I won't have to queue for any rides.

I'm assuming it would be a VIP fastpass (so would only work on fp rides), but she also says the one pass wil work for both me and my bf.

I'm worried there's a bit of confusion going on, and wanted to find out if anyone know's what kind of passes the Cast Members get?

I'm not holding my breath, on the matter to be honest, as it seems a bit too good to be true. And when I booked I wasn't ever expecting not to wait in line like everyone else.

I wouldnt have thought you would be able to use anything that belonged to a CM as it would have their id/photo on possibly.
However Im wondering if they are going to get you some kind of pass to get to the front of all rides not just FP ones.
When we were chosen as Stars of the Day in the Studios last summer we were able to access all rides at the front of the queue not just FP ones - brill for DH and DD to walk to the front of a 90 minute plus queue at Crush (I was too much of a coward to try the ride)

Yeah, I was thinking that, the ones that you can use in the fastpass machines whenevr you like?

It was brill. We were unhappy with the way something was handled and so DH went to talk to them at the Studio equivalent to City Hall and we were offered that. There is a full report of the day and what led to it in my trip report from last July - next to last and last part
