We didn't get home last night until 1 am so there was no way I was doing an update last night

We really enjoyed the party last night! It started out tough, Kira was in huge meltdown mode when we left the condo and it didn't end until we parked the van in Minnie row 40!

Good news is that it was all uphill from there

Kira really enjoyed Buzz Lightyear

And we all enjoyed Wedway

We ate at Caseys (OMG, Disney is getting a nasty email from me in regards to those new buns that they are using now!!! ) and then we met up with Nancy, Chuck, Tony and Stacy. We waited a little bit there to see if any other DISers would show up but we didn't see any so at 7:15 we grabbed a spot on Main Street to watch the parade and Nancy and Chuck kept Kira blisfully happy for the next hour playing with her while we waited for the parade to start.

She really enjoyed the parade and especially when they handed out candy at the end!

Then we tried to get some character pics but it was way too busy! So we grabbed some food to snack on and then watched Hallowishes.

Oh I almost forgot, we ran into Jeff & family, Karen & family and Cheryl & family while we waited for the parade, they came and found us and then we ran into them again just before the second parade.

Then we went to find some characters finally.

It was around this time that Kira was winding down and you could tell she was getting tired.

We decided to ride Pooh Ride and just as we were geting in line, I saw Lori and family and Sean and Cath and Olivia


We spent the next hour or so following them around We kept saying hi and then bye and then kept running into each other again

We all got on It's a small world just a few minutes before the park closed and then we ended up walking out all together.

This is where Kira found her second wind. She was having so much fun with Lori and Scott's kids and Sean and Cath's little girl.

All the kids walked from IASM all the way to City Hall hand-in-hand, it was the cutest thing ever!!

Kira did so well last night. After we finally made it to the park, there were almost no meltdowns and tantrums!!!! She lasted all night long and she had so much fun. She really loved being with all the kids and she was on the verge of falling asleep after we started down World Drive.

Today is pack-up day so we have lots to do and then we're driving to the Residence Inn at Cocoa Beach.

I will try to update tonight but there won't be much to update since we're not doing much today.

Just got back from the Super Target on 192, man that place is NICE!!!

And only a few minutes away!

And it is a scorcher today!!! Glad we aren't doing the parks today, I am DONE with the whole sweating like a pig thing

Just waiting on a load of laundry and then we are off to DD for some lunch/supper and then we are driving to the Residence Inn in Cocoa Beach.

I have no idea how we are gonna get all this crap home Rob keeps shopping and we haven't even stepped on the ship yet I have yet to buy myself a shirt! Actually, that's not true, I bought one but didn't like it so I returned it

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for following along. It's been a great, albeit stressful, trip so far I've got a lot of great pics and video, can't wait to share it all with you

Now we gotta get out of Theme Park mode and get into Cruise mode

Can't wait to get on that ship!!!!

Woo Hoo Cass... it's CRUISE TIME!!! I really hope you get some great weather, though after seeing what we woke up to, I'm sure you'll be wishing you were home. Love ya, love the pics... little dooties loves them even more. I think she's missing Kira and you... maybe even Rob. LOL

Cass, have a terrific cruise with all those great BOBers and give Kira an extra hug from her wacky Auntie Bendy. I'm so glad we had a chance to meet even though it wasn't long enough (totally my fault, I know) and I'm so looking forward to reading about the cruise. Please tell everyone Jay and I said hello and if you get a chance ... pass along to Walt & Di that my nephew thinks they are the coolest people he's never really met because they're harley folks.

Hey guys!

Well we made it on the ship and had a crazy busy first day. Rob woke up Saturday morning and wasn't feeling so great. I think it was allergies and just a lack of sleep.

First day didn't go as planned at all! As soon as the rooms opened at 1:30pm Rob and Kira went for a nap. I did some videotaping around the ship and took a few pics while they rested. When I got back at 2:50pm all our luggage was outside the door and was blocking the hallway so I had to bring it all in myself. Rob was down for count and we ended up missing the DIS BOB meet altogether.

The safety drill was a bit of a nightmare with Kira and then I needed to unpack and I looked out the window and we were moving! We missed sailaway and the horn blowing

Rob went back to sleep so Kira and I watched us sail out of the channel on deck 4.

Then we went and got some supper for Kira and walked around a bit. We went to the Welcome Aboard show and she made it through most of the show but started to meltdown near the end so we left early.

Came back and finished unpacking and organizing for the week. I got Kira and all her stuff ready for Flounders and then finally Rob got up and we went to dinner after dropping her off.

Dinner was AWESOME!!! Not only do we have great company but fantastic servers!!!! Orlan and Cindy are SOOOOOOO good and we had a great meal!!!!!

We watched and played Magic Quest and then Rob went to pick up Kira and they went to bed while I stayed to watch Match Your Mate.

Kira had a great time in Flounders and the counsellor said she was well behaved!!

Weather is HOT HOT HOT and HUMID!!!! I'm trying to stay inside cus I am just sweating LOL!

Seas are moderate and I am loving it!! I missed being on the ship. Kira has been a handful but she is enjoying herself. Let's just say putting her in Flounders during our dinner was a VERY smart decision

Another hot day today. Rob slept most of the morning. Kira and I went to play in the Splash area which she loved and then while they napped, I delivered all my distag gifts. Kira is LOVING all the little treats and toys everyone is delivering to us! We are cruising with a FABULOUS bunch of people and I love seeing them all over the ship!

Tonight is formal night so that should be fun!

If I get some time tomorrow I will try to post a few photos.

Ok, that's it for now. I will update again tomorrow.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad that the cruise is going well so far and that she loves Flounders. I have Ernie booked for dinner nearly every night of our upcoming cruise, too, because I fear he would never make it through meals in the dining room.

Hope Rob is much better now after some much needed rest. Please tell the BOBrs HELLO from us!

Hey guys,

I've been trying to update but the connection is absolutely horrible!!!

I've wasted over 50 minutes just today trying to log on, it's driving me batty!!!

I've got some pics to upload but I can't get onto Photobucket, the connection keeps getting lost!

Anyway, it's been a tough few days. Rob got his "cruise flu" and spent the last 3 days in bed. It's been just Kira and I for most of the time, which has been tough on me. Today was the first time he got out of bed.

Kira has had a lot of meltdowns and interesting moments.

I had a meltdown of my own last night when our stateroom host started giving me heck because he couldn't "service" our room because we've had the privacy on for 2 days. I was so mad and almost lost it! Let's just say that there will be an additional sheet of paper attached the the guest survey at the end of the cruise with detailed observations about our stateroom host!


I'm trying to enjoy the cruise as much as possible, my evenings are really enjoyable...been taking Kira to the show and then dropping her off at Flounders which she LOVES and then off to fabulous dinner every night and then to the adult show and then to the hot tub and pool with Sean and Bernie!

It's been pretty lonely but it's nice to have S & B around for some company

We went to Divi Little Bay today and Kira got to play in the sand and ocean...that was really nice!

Tonight is pirate night so hopefully that will be awesome!
