So after I get up, Kira has picked out new clothes to wear for the day; seems the clothes I picked weren't good enough.
We went out and had breakfast with Sean, Bernie, & Ken at Phil's and then went to a Bridal Show and to Wal-mart.
Of course Kira has my phone, so this drawing is for Mom.
After getting some supplies (Kleenex!), I found a woman's wallet in a shopping cart so we stopped by the police station on the way home only to find out that they weren't open on the weekend.
So I called the Police and an officer dropped by the house right after we finished cleaning the walks for our neighbour and ours.
I went to show Kira to the PoliceWoman to get her to know that she can trust them and that women do important jobs; but instead she started bawling her head off instead because her sock came off and her foot was "cold" (well, it was -23C out and the door was open). The Police Woman just said thanks and left with the wallet; muttering about how there was still money in it.
Ooook.
Note to everyone: Put your cell# in your wallet, if you lose it how the heck can I call you to get you your wallet back; especially if you decide to come back to the store to find it again.
Sean & Bernie came over afterwards as well, Sean gave me a hand getting my DJ booth out of the van so I can put the new drawer into the booth. Turns out it fit but barely. We figured we could use the space from our old 2nd gen booth so all the equipment went out of the old booth and into the carpet booth. With a bit of re-arranging of the rack due to the length of the drawer slides, it was all in!
After 4hrs and lots of work, one slight hitch. The front panel wouldn't close.
Two hours later after that with more re-arranging, it mostly slides down now.
Joy.
We had a late supper and she had a bath, but not like most baths. We have hot chocolate and snacks as well for a bath picnic party she calls it.
Not quite the right towel.
I'd have to say, if you wanted to get away from the Alberta winter, this was a perfect time to leave because this is what we woke up too.
I am kind of wishing we were all in Florida now.
