cash?

I was just wondering if you use cash in the parks or if you have a card from the resort that you just charge things to. Thanks!

You can use your resort key as a charging card by use of credit card.

I personally take cash, travelers cheques and Disney Dollars.

cash works, but i like to go with the smallest load possible so i usually hook my disney visa up to the resort key and take my rewards card.

I use cash at WDW except for larger purchases where I will use my CC. I think you tend to spend less with cash.

I agree with the other poster. I tend to spend less money if I have cash on hand.

I take both cash and credit cards. We allot a specific amount of cash each day to take in the parks. (Usually $150.00 when not on the dining plan and $100.00 when we are. This is way more than we spend.) Whatever left over money we have from the day before, we add in the extra to bring it up to the $150.00 or $100.00.

Since we stay for ten days and we visit most parks a couple of times during our stay, I usually wait on buying the souveniers until the last couple of days. This way, I don't do the compulsive buying thing.

We take $20 cash every time we leave the room... otherwise, we use the room charge or Rewards card. Only use cash for those quick places that still don't take cards.

We only take in (to the parks) what fits in our pockets and my waterproof card holder (for tix, etc) doesn't have much room left after our APs, room key, DL, and Rewards card.

Another plus to the cards... having the charges printed up is an easier way for my to track my expenses... I tend to forget where I spent my cash.... that's just me though. YMMV

My wife and I both take $20.00 a piece for things like refreshments and snacks. Fast stuff that we don't want to wiat in line for or have others wiat behind us for. The rest is room key purchases. YMMV.

When my in-laws go to the parks, they bring nothing but cash. They have three kids with them so the money adds up, and with throwing out paper it is easier for them to say no to the little ones.
