Cash Room at BLT Question

Hi Disfriends!

We are taking a three generation trip in June, and we are staying at BLT. I'm a DVC gal, but we have booked a two bedroom villa cash stay with a TA. I'm assuming that our villa will be a dedicated villa and not a lock off? My reservation in MDE just says "two bedroom villa" and my TA doesn't know. I really want to make sure we have a dedicated room and not a lock off. How can I determine this? Are cash stays normally given dedicated rooms? We have a theme park view, if that helps.

Any intel would be greatly appreciated!

If the room type doesn't include "Lock-Off", it's a dedicated room. I believe that lock-offs are only available when booking through DVC.

@erionm Whew! Thank you so much for the intel. I spoke with just a regular CM on the WDW phone system who said it is possible to get a lock off when booking cash, and if we want a dedicated, then the TA should make that request. He sounded a little unsure of himself, so then I called DVC member services and she said the same thing you said...if the reservation doesn't say "lock off" we have a dedicated two bedroom villa.

Our trip will be magical regardless, but I would love to do everything I can to make a dedicated villa happen. I'm going to have the TA make the dedicated request.
