Cash ressie question

Remind me again -- how far in advance can you call about a cash reservation for a DVC resort?

Looking at a wkend night for next summer prior to our long stay at BWV... will want to put the "call now!" reminder into my calendar!

call right now - are you going through CRO - or are you trying to get the DVC discount through MS?

any villas that are unsold (DVC members or guest are not using) go to CRO at the 60 day time period.

but I really think you will find something long before then.

We are wanting one Sat nt in a 2 br at BCV prior to our big BWV stay (thought it would be nice to use SAB and have WDW move our bags... we'll mosey over to BWV when we're done at the pool!)

We're DVC, so yes, we're trying for that "DVC Discount".

What's my timing for a cash ressie (i.e., what's the call-in window, 60 days, 90 dyas, 120, etc.) for that?

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I just got a cash ressie for one night (before using points for the other nights) at HH at the 7 month window.

Cash reservation window seems to vary with resort and time of year. We have been able to secure cash DVC reservations through MS between the 11 and 7 month windows. I would periodically call, maybe every 3-4 weeks. IF you book through CRO, you may have to change rooms, because the reservations can't be officially linked. If you don't mind moving you can sometimes get a better rate through CRO, but if you definetly don't want to change rooms, book through MS and be sure to link the points/cash stays in the MS computer.
