Cash ressie question

I am planning on a July Trip at BCV and I want to stay 11 nights so I have to pay for 2 nights. When I called just now they don't have any Studios available for cash. Should I renew my annual pass just for the purpose of a room discount?

That's a tough one. It is very possible that cash nights will be available closer to arrival. Chances are better if you are looking for Friday & Saturday nights vs weeknights. MS must be sure that the nights won't be needed for points reservations before they release nights for cash. That's why there is no or very little cash availability through MS 11 months prior to arrival.

If it were me, I would not renew an AP just to get a room discount, especially if there was a chance I wouldn't even need to use it for a room discount. I only get (or renew) an AP if it is the best value for admission. I consider the perks as "gravy" or "good luck". Might be different for you.
