Cash ressie and "moving" for the last night

I am looking into adding one more night to our upcoming August BCV trip. We have a 2 bdm with 2 queens in 2nd bedroom. The airfare is a LOT less if we travel home 9/1 instead of 8/31. (I'm not sure why :confused3 ) However, I either need to get a tranfer of points from another member (unlikely since it's only 16 points) or pay cash. Member services says that the cash ressie available is only for a villa with queen and pullout in 2nd bdm and we would need to move for this last night. Anyone have experience with this in the past? Any chances we wouldn't have to move?

Thanks for any advice.

Funny you should ask. I just went through the exact same situation with our April trip. We had three days booked (2 at BVC and 1 at SSR). We decided to stay an extra day due to flight costs (and just staying longer). The only room available on Monday was a cash romm but for a 1 bedroom (we are staying in a studio) and I didnt want to have to move again. We waitlisted for Thursday (BVC) and Monday (SSR). Well I get on the web site today and BOTH of our waitlists came through! :cool1:

I would suggest you waitlist for the room you want and call back daily for cash rooms to see what might have opened up. I hope everything works out for you like it did for us!

The dedicated two bedroom with two queens in the second bedroom is only available using points. And they usually go quickly. So if you don't have that reservation already for the extra night, the odds are you won't get it either.

You can't get them for cash. If you do make a cash reservation for that night, it will be a separate reservation and not linked to the first one. You will have to move.
