Cash resie at Thanksgiving?

Can someone give me some insight on making a cash reservation for Thanksgiving? What would be the cost of a 2BR Saturday before Thanksgiving? Is the member discount commonly given around major holidays? Looking to save those 55 points!

Cash reservations are usually only available if MS doesn't think they will be booked. Thanksgiving and other holidays usually get booked up long before the holiday. Might not have any cash availability.

If available (and you never know - doesn't hurt to try), the member cash discount is 25% off rack rate.

Sometimes, cash rooms (with and without the discount) become available as you approach the date. If you can't get the night for cash right away, my advice is to make a back up reservation somewhere now and keep trying. Even though you might have to move if the cash night doesn't come through, at least you will have a place to stay.

October, November & December weekends at the WDW resorts tend to sell out fairly quickly - don't wait too long to make the back up.
