Cash/points stay checking out/in

We have 2 days at BWI CL before moving over to BLT. Can we go over to BLT early (730 8 am) to check in while still checked into our BW room. I dont want to check out of BWI at 8 because we all know rooms aren't usually ready that early but I would like to get over there with the hope to get the room earlier than usual...

If I dont link the reservations would this work or just because MS and CRO have other systems for renting I assume the checkin computer is the same and a different story...

I posted this on the resort page as well, I am not sure they will have as much knowledge..

Yes, you can go over and check in early. We switched from BWV to BLT last year. We had done express check out so the front desk would have had no way of knowing when we actually vacated the room if I hadn't told them on my way out (figured maybe it would allow cleaning to happen earlier for the next guest!).

If you want to go over to BLT, while the rest of your party stays until the official check out time, that is perfectly fine.

We've done this in the past. I left the family behind at AKL to sleep while I checked into BCV at 7:00AM. We were lucky enough to get a room right away, so I unloaded what I had in the car. Then I called them, told them the good news and went back to get them after we all had a bite to eat in the CL at AKL.
