Cash passport

Has anyone used a cash passport from Going places?
We have got one for Sept (dont have credit cards) and I want to make sure it is usable over there.

I've no idea about this, but bumping up in case someone else can help. There was a recent thread about Amex Cash Cards which sound similar - I'll see if I can find and post a link.

We used the going places card when we went last year. Didn't really have any problems with it. Some shops did ask for i.d as it was not chip and pin and you are charged if you take money out of an atm - I think it was $4.50 each time but apart from that it was fine. Hope this helps.
