Cash only purchases right now?

I am in magic kingdom right now and we are unable to use credit cards, magic bands or redemption cards or any purchases. Including Genie+ plus service, individual lightning lanes and mobile food ordering. Does anyone know if this is resort wide at the moment or only in certain parks or areas?

I did not bring enough cash for lunch and dinner for the rest of the day and I’m trying to figure out how to make this work.

I’m trying to make a resort reservation and it keeps giving me a credit card error so I think it is Disney IT struggling as a whole.

That could be Disney IT or the credit card company itself. Not too long ago my local grocery store had their credit card machines go down, courtesy of the company that runs the little terminals. The drama and panic that ensued was crazy! It's not like they could do anything except send people to the ATM. It effected the entire plaza and surrounding areas.

R U sure? I thought things Ike gift cards go through the same terminal which processes credit, debit, Disney gift cards and magic bands

I wonder if table service restaurants have the ability to process a manual charge back to your room.

It really depends on the reason the system is down.
