Just one note on Credit Cards. When we went on the Fantasy last summer to the Caribbean, they cut off BOTH of our credit cards (two different companies) within a couple of days. We had not notified them in advance that we were leaving the country. Many banks (and posters here) say you no longer have to notify the companies, but I would, based on our experience. Turning them back on from the sea isn't easy either, though Guest Services let us use their phone, the signal is spotty, and one of the two companies insisted on texting us for confirmation, which of course, we could not get. I lost connection with them before we could find an acceptable alternative. Good thing the other company turned our other card back on or we would have had trouble paying our cruise bill at the end. Maybe should have put that on a third card that we didn't plan to use on the trip.
