I was reading that these two are kind of similar. If you were to pick between the two because of time constraints, which would you pick?

Casey Jr. Circus Train or Storybook Canal Boats?

Thanks!

I love the Storybook Boats. Its a special ride for us. Its sweet and easy. I also love the train. They are very different IMO. We enjoy going on both at night. The boats are fun and mellow, and you get to see all the miniture stories. While the train is fun (go for the wild animal car). It would be hard to choose between them. It would depend on who I am with and what they wanted to do. DD prefers the train. DBF would pick the boats.

we love the train......the cabose is our favorite. It actualy is a peppy little ride, and very pretty at night.

It seems like the canal boats always have a pretty long line. It seems like the one for Casey Jr. is usually shorter.

I would probably still pick the canal boats if I could only do one, though. It is just a slower ride, giving you more time to look at the miniatures.

We love Casey Jr. and rarely wait in line for the canal boats. Riding in the cages is so much fun for kids and provides great photo ops of your family. On the other hand, riding the boats provides great photo ops of the miniatures. I would definitely make time to ride both on a 1st visit to the 'Land!

My girls love Casey Jr! They have a hard time getting the miniatures. They are 2y10m and I'd think older would be better.

They are not the same at all. One is a fun little train ride while the other is a sedate tour of the canals. I prefer Casey Jr. though will not do the animal cages again, long embarassing story. Even though I am old and wise I still just feel like a little kid. I love all the cars.

I'd say Storybookland Canal Boats, but to each his own.

Oh how do you decide...I love them both. The Storybook boats are so relaxing and cute especially at night, but our funniest memories usually come from the Casey Jr train. Some how we usually end up in the Wild Animal car, DH & DS are over 6' so it's always funny watching them try to get in and out.

My little girls love both - but especially prefer the Canal Boats and always have. The reason - they are so much closer to the little houses and you can just see everything so beautifully. Also, they let smaller children ride on the bow, if they want to.

Casey Jr. In the front seats that face forward (so you get the wind in your face), not the cages. The canal boats were just really uncomfortable for me; too much neck-craning to see things.

Is there a reason you have to choose? We prefer Storybook. It's one of the first rides I remember as a small child.

Casey Jr, any time!

The Canal Boats are good depending on who the Narater is IMO, but Casey Jr is a fun ride. I like the caboose!

I vote for the boats. :) I love the open atmosphere of being on the little "river" and seeing all the towns.

Thanks for all the replies. Seems to be a toss up! I thought I needed to choose because of time constraints but maybe not. I will try to put both into my plans. Thanks again!

I personally prefer the Boats. I think generally the boats are better for older kids, while the train is better for younger kids.

Storybook Canals, every time.....I like the Casey Jr ride but LOVE the Storybook Canals. I always say I want DBF to propose to me under the arches on the Storybook Canal ride, I just love it at night...... :)

If I could only choose one, I would choose the train, especially if there are small children. The Storybook Land Canal boats are charming, the the train ride is fun, and if you listen you can hear it chugging "I think I can when it's going up the hill." It's a fun ride.
