Case of the Purloined Swiss Cheese

I came home from A&P on CHristmas Eve morning, set the bags on the floor and began putting all the food away. I had purchased Swiss Cheese for CHicken COrdon Bleu...but could not find it in the bag. I was ready to go back to the store to complain that it had been left out...but first I walked into the living room and found the cheese WRAPPER...and ONLY the wrapper. My guess is that our 11 yr old cocker spaniel, LADY, stole it (she is quite the food thief) and then, of course, when Winnie our Eng. bulldog, saw it she joined in. So they ate a 1/4 pound between them.
They are so lucky they are cute.
