Fold n Go will only sell their carry-on battery case to their customers. I finally found a carry-on case I purchased to carry the batteries for my Falcon Reclining Electric Wheelchair. Fits perfectly! Hope I attached the photo correctly.IMG_0091.png

You did attach it correctly.
I fixed it for you so the full image shows without needing to click it

That’s even nicer than the Fold and Go bag. love the outside pocket.

Iuki, are you removing your batteries before you get on the airplane to carry on? Is that why you needed a case?

Sorry - I feel like I missed a piece of the puzzle! :-)

Most likely explanation. Alternative; bring batteries inside for charging.

When we travel, I don’t check-in my foldable electric wheelchair. I drive my “hot wheels” up to the plane and it is placed on the plane in the compartment that stores the baby strollers. However, the airlines require you to remove the batteries and take them in the cabin with you. In fact, one of the airline crew members asked me if we had a bag for the batteries, which we didn’t at that time. To prevent damage to the batteries, we purchased the bag to protect them onboard the next time we fly.

On one particular flight, when I checked in my mobility scooter before I purchased my electric wheelchair, the scooter was left on the dock and never loaded with our luggage. I didn’t get my scooter until the next day.

Recently on a flight to Tampa for a cruise, our baggage was put on a flight to TPA via LAX, and we were put on a flight to TPA via Chicago. We didn’t get our luggage until after the cruise returned to port a week later. Fortunately, I had my hot wheels with me, otherwise my wheelchair would have gone to LAX with our luggage. For the 7-day cruise, we had no clothes or toiletries. Fortunately, we were on a B2B cruise and had our luggage for the second leg of the cruise. Besides, I like having the use of my hot wheels at the airport while waiting to board.

I know it was a long response, but I wanted to explain why I don’t check in my hot wheels along with our luggage.

Inside where? Are you thinking that they'd leave a scooter outside a room, and just bring the batteries in? Leaving scooters and other large items out in the hallways is against the fire code (even though some CMs suggest doing it, ugh!) and I've seen scooters vandalized at WDW when they are out in the hallway.

We saw this many times at Kidani in May. I don't know why it's not enforced.

iuki.....thanks for sharing. So many times an answer to a problem is out there, we just don't know where to look.

I just checked my small flashlight stored in my cars glove compartment .
I could not believe how hot it was .
Thanks for reminding me about those batteries too.

Inside a car trunk.

Also possible a guest will be leaving the scooter, outside a restaurant where a CM indicated, while attempting to charge the battery inside the restaurant.

Yes. The airlines make us remove the batteries.

Since this came up again, I thought it would be good to add a link to the FAA information about travel with power wheelchairs and other powered mobility devices.
Not all power wheelchairs need the battery removed. It mostly depends on the type of battery and whether the wheelchair has a protective housing that adequately protects the battery.

Check with your airline and also check if your wheelchair manufacturer has information about air travel.
My daughter's power wheelchair is a Permobil, which has a really helpful travel support page.
