I don't want to sound too stupid here, but why is Michaels selling the cartridges for more than the suggested retail price on the Cricut site? I was checking out cartridges at Cricut.com and noticed that none of them were $89.99, so I went to Michaels to see if they had lowered their prices, but they hadn't. My local Hobby Lobby store seems to have them for the same price as the website. What's the deal with Michaels?

Last night, we went to M's so I could use my coupon, and so I could do some recon work! They had the little scan thing out for Paisley & Sweet Treats, but no tags or boxes. As I checked out, I asked the cashier if Paisley would be put out on Thanksgiving (since the Cricut email said Black Friday). She called the manager over, and he said, "Ummmm, I've been selling them all week. I didn't know I was supposed to wait. I've got one. I'll sell it to you for $89.99, but it'll be $37.50 on Thursday, IF I have any more." I didn't buy it, because I kept thinking "I could almost get THREE carts for that price", but I REALLY thought about it!!!!

I am confused. What is the cartridge sale at Joann's on Saturday? I didn't see it in the ads.

I am going to get an Expression at Wal-Mart, and DH has gotten me some cartridges from E-Bay. Hoping to pick up a few more.

Oy! ACM posted on its Facebook page that they will reveal the ad at 11:00 PM tonight! Seriously? Don't you think people want to make their plans ahead of 11:00 on Wednesday night? Unless they have a sale to rival all sales, they will lose customers to Jo's and Mike's who have already shown their hand. Ah well.

that's exactly what i said to dh last night. people need their game plan. it's really not a good idea! why would you not want to show it so people can be all excited. unless they don't have good deals? but why would they not?
