Carthay Lounge or Napa Rose Lounge Vegetarian?

I know these vegetarian/vegan questions get kicked around a lot, but I haven't found a particular answer to my question yet.

I want to get a somewhat upscale snack and drink at either Carthay Lounge or Napa Rose Lounge (maybe both). I'm a vegetarian, so my options are obviously limited. At Carthay Lounge it sounds like my only options may be the Queso Fondido, or possibly a flatbread without meat. Napa Rose has a similar flatbread type option that sounds like it can be ordered without meat, and a cheese plate.

Are there other "secret" menu options? If not, what have others thought about the standard menu options?

My experience with Carthay Lounge is that they are not vegetarian or GF friendly at all. I don't like the new menu, so usually do just a drink. But in the past they had a lot of small trios on the menu and would not make changes. They also will not let an adult order of the kids menu, even with nothing else vegetarian on the menu. I've tried more than once. I think they probably would do the flatbread without bacon, though. You might also consider the desserts there.

Menu changes often. They aren't too vegetarian friendly, but I am sure they can do the flat bread without meat. They also have tomato soup that I am sure you can ask for. Kids menu, they only thing vegetarian really on it is grilled cheese.

Look at the menu for Alfresco Terrace. There are 2 vegetarian options already on there.

I love both of those restaurants. I usually approach ordering in a higher end restaurant like these with nothing veggie on the menu with a discussion with the server about being vegetarian and what I do eat and don't (dairy is good with me) and what the chef can do for me. Except for no meat I am pretty open and adventurous so I am happy to let the chef come up with something. Sometimes I end up with a pasta or risotto that has been modified, sometimes I discuss with the server the idea of getting a platter that is a sampler of the different side dishes being offered that night.

OP is asking about the lounges, not the full service restaurant.

Thanks for the input all. Looks like I may just pop into Carthay for a drink and maybe check out dessert. I mainly want to experience the atmosphere anyway.

The lounge at both restaurants have a very limited menu and really can't make major adjustments. The restaurants are great about working with food issues, but the lounges are quite limited.

The desserts are pretty good at Carthay. They have ice cream Macarons which are really good, and a chocolate brownie with marshmellow ice cream aka California Rocky Road (didn't care for it myself.)

Another place you haven't mentioned is the lounge at Steakhouse 55. I was actually looking at the menu earlier today and saw some good vegetarian stuff. I don't recall seeing any vegan stuff. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disneyland-hotel/steakhouse-55-lounge/menus/ (Salads might be vegan)

I have been in the lounge at Carthay twice and they weren't able to change up anything for us. They also were not able to get us anything from the restaurant upstairs.
