I just made reservations for dinner at the new Carthay Circle Restaurant in DCA on June 25.

I would like to get the preferred seating for the early WOC show. They didn't ask which showing of WOC I would like when I made the reservation.

Should I worry about getting the early show? I have a 5 year old and the late show would just be too late for him. Also, we have an early flight home the next day.

Also, does anyone know what the prices are going to be there? Is it equivalent to Napa Rose or Blue Bayou?

There is a rumor floating that every person has to order two things to eat (app & entre or entre & dessert). Another rumor is Carthay is getting it's own prefered area. If you take a look at WOC super thread pic of the prefered area, I think its the font section behind the splash zone. I'd call back about which show time you have. All summer there should be two showings.

LOL, not a rumor! That was all confirmed the first day CCT were announced! Anyone who wants a WOC ticket must get an entree with either a dessert OR an appitizer! OP, have a look here:

As for when you can see WOC, it makes it clear if you have reservations from 11-7 p.m. you will get the first show. Anytime after that, the second show! So unless you have reseverations after 7 pm you should have no problems seeing the first show! But you only get center stage if you have reservations from 11-4 p.m. So it all depends on when you made the reservation obviously!

If you made it after 7, I will just say call or email them and get it changed to an earlier time!

Oh good! We have reservations at 5:30 so, we should get the first showing!

Thank you!

No problem! :)

Oh and you also asked about prices! On another website, it was cited dinner entre's would be around $45 average and lunch would be around $25. Its the same chef who did the Napa Rose menu, so it obviously makes sense it would be around the same in price!

But hopefully a full size menu with prices will be released soon! I have reservations as well for June 15th, so I'm curious to know as well!

I thought I had read somewhere that there would be some decent priced sandwiches on the lunch menu? I'd love to see a full menu. Hopefully it will be released soon.

You heard correct! It was actually mentioned in that link I provided! They will have sandwhiches for lunch and burgers for both lunch and dinner. Now 'decent priced' is all relative when it comes to Disney lol, but I'm hoping in the $15 range at least!

Great info!

Just made reservations for 11AM Lunch with WOC Notation for July 4th! I am sure the park will be crazy that day, but I have heard rumors of a Special World of Color and thats my Wifes Birthday too!

Yeah they DO have a special 4th of July WOC as they do for the fireworks at DL! Its not that long though, only about 4-5 mins long but its really good and you will still get the full show of course!

I saw it last year and it was great! :)

Does anyone know how the WOC dining requirement will apply to children? I have a 5 year-old.

I'm not sure, I have 5 year-old too. I know they have entrees for children, I am wondering how my 5 year-old needs to order to get his WOC ticket too?

I don't think we have gotten any information regarding children and ordering for WOC. You should probably call and ask. Be sure to report back if you find out!

Oh cool! :)

I will miss you guys a bit! My reservation is at 12:50! I wanted to spend the morning doing CL as much as possible and then do lunch!

My DH and good friend and boyfriend will be joining us on June 15th at 1:20pm for lunch if anyone is around that time :)

It seems like a lot of food to order if each person in the party must order two things...i guess if it is just two people one can order an app two entrees and one desert...but with a group of say four you would need two apps and two desert plus all the entrees...seems like too much food thus a waste of both food and money. Especially since on the menu it states that the apps are meant for sharing.

I thought that I read somewhere that the seating for this option will be separate from the other dining packages; does anyone know if that is correct, and if so, where in the WoC viewing area will these places be?

We will dine at CC in Sept for WOC. We would like the first showing (if there are two) and in the front of one of the center staired sections (not the very front wet zone). Knowing this, what time should we book our meal? Lunch? Early dinner? Help & thanks!
