Carsland opening vs. Fantasyland Expansion opening

First, thanks to the podcast team for all your great work covering the Carsland opening in DCA. I'm wondering if anyone thinks the Fantasyland expansion opening will be as good as what people are seeing at Carsland. I'm personally more excited to see the opening of Fantasyland, but at the same time I wonder if it won't be able to meet the high expectations that have been set by hearing all the great things about Carsland & Buena Vista Street in DCA. I just don't know if walking into the new Fantasyland will be as immersive an experience as it sounds like Carsland is. Just kind of curious what others think.

Personally I don't think it's going to be as good or as exciting. Like you, I am more excited about Fantasyland, but after seeing what they did at Carsland, I don't think they are going to top that at Fantasyland. I think Be Our Guest is going to be VERY cool, but I don't think Ariel is going to create much buzz, it's open at DL already and you don't hear much about it really. The 7 Dwarves Mine ride has alot of potential, but that won't open until later. Opening in phases like it is, right there effects the WOW factor. The Dumbo/Circus area is really cute, but I honestly thought there would be more to the Dumbo que than a play area. No, I think DLR definitely will beat out WDW as far as who got the better expansion.
