UPDATE!
We said good-bye to Carsland and decided to hop to see if the crowds at DL were low. On our way out, we stopped to watch some of the "Five and Dime" show. It was really fun and definitely a great addition to the live entertainment.
They all looked like they were having so much fun!
Even Goofy made an appearance.
Took a few final pics of BVS on our stroll out.
A little bummed I didn't actually get to ride the RCT. Oh well, next time.
We did hop over to DL and crowds were nowhere to be seen!
We hopped around 10 or so and waited 15 min each for Indy and Space back to back. We walked on to BTMRR, HM and Pirates. Picked up a FP for Star Tours even though the line was only 25 min. Our combined wait time for both of our Buzz rides was probably 15 min. I think the longest we waited for a ride was a 20 min Roger Rabbit line in the early afternoon. We also rode IASW, so here's a couple of IASW pics...
We ended up leaving around 3ish because I had a birthday party to go to in Irvine and my mom had to catch her flight back home. Here's a pic of the crazy crowds on Main Street on our way out.
Seriously it was awesome with no crowds at DL!
Anyway, that concludes my epic weekend trip report. I had a ton of fun, but I was exhausted after Saturday. I'm excited to see how crowd patterns change during the summer, and I'll definitely be back a few times to get my RSR fix! My whole family will be coming down in July so I'll probably meet up with them. Otherwise, thanks for reading. Hopefully you had a good time living vicariously through my pics!
