should I book 2 All star sports rooms or pay an extra $75-100/night for a Cars suite? is the “better”theme & mini kitchen worth the extra? Thanks 😊 we’ll be 2 adults (daughter & I) & 3 girls for 5 nights in September

It depends. You'll have 3 sleeping surfaces at AoA and 4 at All Stars. Does that matter for the makeup of your group?
I do love AoA (theming, playground, skyliner) and would be willing to pay a little more for those things, but you'll definitely want to consider sleeping arrangements as no one is having fun if they aren't sleeping well.

There are family suites at All Star Music as well. They are newly refurbished with 3 queen size beds two of which become a sofa and table when not in use. They are also considerably cheaper than AOA and are located in the preferred section of the resort so close to swimming pool/food court/busses. Like this you are all guaranteed to be together as two connecting rooms are not guaranteed (but in September you have a good chance of getting them).

I would do AOA. The suites have a microwave and AOA has the Skyliner.
Also preferred the shower in AOA, over the one-setting option showerhead at the All-Stars.

Good point.

I’d run this comparison of ASM suite along with the Cars suite at AoA. The difference in cost can vary depending on dates. If it doesn’t save much might not be worth giving up the positives at AoA. Sometimes it saves alot though, so if you were barely going to use the pool and save enough money to buy ubers, maybe that’s a better value to your group.

I'd do 2 rooms at Sports mainly because you're going during a rainy month and the skyliner is a real PITA when it goes down for storms. If you were going in Feb or something I'd probably stay with Cars suite but not in rainy months.

If you do two rooms Disney will not be able to guarantee they are connecting, and have the inside door between them. They do their best, but as they do not block out rooms as you book them there is a small possibility you won't get them. We had it happen to us before.

Also, I think the layout of the All Star Music Suite is nicer than that of the suites at AoA. You still get 2 bathrooms, plus the kitchenette is off a bit and not right next to one of the "beds". And they are substantially cheaper. Around $100 a night cheaper.

AoA vs ASSports- do you think there’s a big difference in noise factor? am going to bring a white noise machine & request a box fan for the light sleeper (me 😊)

Deluxe Studio - Standard View Kidani Village

Kidani village at 397/night (our dates) is less than AoA & very close to 2 rooms at ASSports at 162/night x 2
