cars in Sci Fi

My friend and her family are going to Disney at the beginning of September. Her husband is a large guy. She is wondering if he will fit in the car to eat dinner. I have been to Disney many times , but I was never in The Sci Fi to eat anything. She booked a meal plan and I was looking with her for fun places to eat with the kids. She doesnt want to embarass him and the kids not wanting to leave because its such a cool place

I don't know the answer to your question, however I did want to let you know that Sci Fi is scheduled to be down for a rehab the week of Labor Day.

Thanks. We called today and her family does have a ressie for Sept 1. She is worried about this and I told her that the disboards was a great place to try to get an answer and I would get back to her by the end of this week

The cars with bench seats are small. I don't fit in them. Instead of just never eating there, I always ask for a "half car" table. That is the table that is a real table with chairs that has a car front and a car back. Its the solution that works best for me

We ate there in January and I have a member of the family who cannot do booths either. Call them back and let them know that NOW. It'll save time later because it'll be on the ressie and they'll know someone is coming in who can't be in a booth. The table looked just like a car except it has chairs on the sides, the front and back are still a car. Sci-Fi is one of my favorite places to eat. I hope they have a great trip!

How large is he? DH and I are oversized as well. And we both fit in the cars.
