Not that I do not trust my lovely children  but how does everyone carry their express pass to insure they are not lost. I am considering having wearing a lanyard with a pocket to keep the Express Pass.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

If it's anything like Universal Studios Hollywood, they give it to you on a lanyard.

i wear a lanyard.

they aren't that expensive.

it's not like the Hollywood park, USO doesn't give the away for free.

I bought cheap lanyards with a clear pocket and zip pocket at walmart in the office supply secton. We all wear one including my now 9 yr old.She hadnt lost anything yet

I bought a lanyard at the park for either $5 or $7 and keep my ticket and express pass in it

I hand mine over to my husband (I'm the planner as he is the responsible one). He keep them in a small zipped pocket on the front of his cargo shorts. We've had lanyard break and fall off so no longer consider them to be an option.

We all have lanyards :thumbsup2

They are ideal for showing EP at rides so you`re not having to bring them out all the time.

I buy one from Margaritaville every year.

DH and DS have had the same ones for years..... from HHN Reflections of Fear year.........always a talking point with some peeps who notice it.

So, if you lose your pass...what happens? Will they just look you up and give you a new one if you're onsite?

Does margaritaville have some with their name on it or just the usual universal ones

My DH carries all of the park passes and express passes in a small (deck of card size) waterproof pouch we have that can be worn around his neck. He shows all the tickets at once as we go through.

BUT we did run into trouble a few times when we split up in the parks and forgot to take our own tix.

Hey Dee-
It was your TR that made me think we needed to have a system where everyone keeps their own express passes- but safely!

I love the lanyards, but my son will tell you differently as his broke off on Dueling Dragons. He had no problem the rest of the day at the park and got another picture taken back at the Hard Rock that night.

Don't tell him but lanyards rule...

I can see why you would be swayed that way.

The absolute biggest mistake we (almost) made was when DH and DS-2 decided to go back to the Portofino and DS-1 and I wanted to leave US and go over to IoA. And DH had all of our tickets!!!

Fortunately, he remembered before leaving the park and found us.

I'm not sure if we have learned our lesson yet though. We will probably still try to have DH hold all the tickets, and try REALLY HARD to remember to take our own tix when we split.

So you have helped me realize that we probably all need individual lanyards, too!

if you are in the park, go to guest services.

they will cancel your orignal express pass and you will have a new one made.

the kiosk cameras are located at guest services/relations.

It's the Witz brand you probably have. I have a clear thin Witz case I bought from REI. DS has an thin opaque red one he got from WDW. DH remains a holdout.

I tend to put the lanyard case onto my Ravenclaw "school tie" lanyard, which I *adore*. If I'm swimming, I switch it back to the cord it came with.

When I go on a "big" ride, I put my lanyard down my shirt, and make sure it's not pulling under the restraint.

Dh lost his lanyard pouch in Anaheim on CA Screamin' when it was pulling as he pulled the restraint down, and he didn't think to loosen it. The flimsy wire pulled and the plastic pulled and it went flying. (painful at Disneyland, because you are charged a fee for replacement APs...he was carrying his and DS's) So I make sure it's not pulling, and put it under my shirt, and I use the Witz or a Sherpani wallet thing at the end of my lanyard, instead of the thin plastic pouches.

Yes, they have the Margaritaville name all around them. Alternating name with the words "love my job" :thumbsup2

When we get on a bigger ride (roller coasters), just stick the lanyard under your shirt. We just slip it through the collar.

When we do re rides we just show the EP from under your shirt. It's long enough that you can get hang it out the bottom.
