Carrib Beach Resort?

HI there.....trying to plan a VERY last minute trip to Disney for next month!
Just got prices back from a travel agent for the Carribean Beach Resort (I guess that would be CBR?). I don't see a lot of posts here on that one, but it has the 'look' we like.

Good or bad experiences? We have a 2 year old so the pools and parks and sand beach look pretty nice for her.

I need to decide quickly!

CBR is the biggest resort on property so depending what "village" you get you may have a walk.

We love it and only stay there when we go but you will find some people on here who dislike it...It all is up to the individual. There is one main pool and then each village has a quiet pool. Food court is nice but we haven't been since they rehabbed it.

I hope you have a good trip. Some time the last minute trips are the best. My daughters and I did not care for the CBR as much because it was so spread out. If you can get a room by the main pool it would not be so bad. We also have stayed at Port Orleans and liked that much better and they also have a cool pool. We also liked All Star as well.

I don't think we'll mind the walk. We normally vacation to Key West and walk the entire time.

I am curious why everybody wants to be near the main pool though? Aren't there like 9 pools? Where is the kiddie pool?

Actually we will probably only be at the pool one day as we'll be in the parks the rest of the time.

We have stayed at CBR many many times and absolutely love it. We were just there in June and we are going back in December. I like to stay in Aruba because I love the walk over the island to Old Port Royale!!! I love to be on the other side of the lake and look over to Old Port Royale - I think it's a beautiful view. When I booked our December trip I could have gotten CSR for $99 a night. CBR was $134. I asked my husband and he didn't even hesitate and said to go with CBR.

We also love CBR. We have stayed there a few times and will be staying there in 2 weeks. We prefer to stay away from the main pool as we are traveling without kids. Other than the food court the only thing we use close to that area is the bar!!!!

Although we use them, we prefer not to be by main pools or food courts--just too noisy. We like the CBR theming & find the walking relaxing & no trouble at all.

We love CBR! Our favorite buildings to stay at are Jamaica & Aruba, & do like the upper floors looking out onto the courtyard. A corner room is super, 2 windows.
As you can see from our signature we are headed back there in Dec.
I actually prefer the double sinks which can be curtained off from the rest of the room, & comfort of the beds to those particular accommodations in the VWL.
