We are headed down to Savannah in 2 weeks for vacation. We will be stopping one night down on our drive in Rock Hill, SC. My kids are thrill ride junkies (ok - mom is too :) ) and I thought it would be great if we went to Carowinds for a few hours that night. I don't want to buy tix in advance because if we are delayed on getting into Rock Hill then we won't have time to go to the park.

Is there somewhere that I can pick up discount tickets or coupons for the evening passes when I arrive. We won't be getting there until around 4pm so somplace nearby would be ideal.

Any other tips you have about that park would be great!

Thanks!

Carowinds has a twilight ticket that is good for after 4pm. If you look online, you can see the price. It's been a while since Ive bought one but I think they used to be around $29.99. With Carowinds, your cheapest option is to buy online. If you buy on a smartphone or laptop right when you get there, they can print them out for you at the willcall window. Ticket prices at the gate tend to be a little more expensive.
PS If your kids love thrill rides, they will love the Intimidator!!!!!

Just looked online and Twilight is actually 24.99 online! Not a bad deal!!!!

Thanks for the information! If I can buy them via my iPhone and they can print them out at will call that seems like the way to go.

I hope the lines won't be too long as we will only have a few hours if we decide to go :)

You might also want to check at Harris Teeter grocery stores to see if they carry the twilight ticket. Might not be cheaper than what's online but it wouldn't hurt to look.

This is how I look on the Intimidator: :scared1:
